Super easy chicken recipes for the beginner

So your mom is going out of town and you are expecting guests at home? Ordering food is easy but the best way to win your guests hearts is by preparing the food yourself. If it were about ordering, they could instead visit a restaurant. They say cooking is an art which can be mastered only by a few. But we say that following a recipe step by step in correct proportions can also help you master the art. Here are the two easiest chicken recipes any beginner can make.
  1. Easy Tasty Chicken
    Ingredients needed – Chicken pieces (as per the qty you want), cooking cream (preferably soji for beginners), mustard, salt, pepper, provincial herbs (optional), olive oil and any one tasty vegetable
    Method – Cut the vegetable in little pieces. Boil water and place the vegetable into it until it is tender and cooked. Meanwhile cut the chicken into small pieces. Put olive oil in a large pan and add salt as per taste. Put the chicken pieces into the oil and patiently wait till they take the golden color. From top add provincial herbs – this is not compulsory, just optional. Then keep your chicken aside. For the cream, put the cooking cream in a bowl, the qty should be according the qty of the chicken. Add mustard and salt to taste. Mix the finished product with the chicken and you are done.





  1. Ried Rice and Pepper Chicken
    Ingredients needed – Fried rice – 1 cup rice. 1 chopped carrot, 8 chopped beans, 2 tbsp soya sauce, 2 tbsp vinegar, salt as per taste, 1 tbsp pepper powder, 2 tbsp of oil. Pepper chicken – small chicken pieces, 2 tbsp cornflour, 1 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp soya sauce, 1 egg white, 1 cup oil, 1 chopped onion, 1 green pepper, 5 cloves garlic and salt to taste.
Method – Cook the rice and keep it aside. Take oil in a pan and heat it. Add beans and carrots and keep sautéing until half cooked. Add salt, pepper and soya sauce, vinegar one tsp each. Mix all of it well. Add rice to the pan and again mix well. Then add the leftover soya sauce and vinegar and mix well. For the pepper chicken, marinate the chicken for 30 minutes. Mix 1 tbsp cornflour, vinegar, soya sauce, egg white, salt and pepper to the chicken and keep it aside. Then fry the chicken in oil and keep it aside. For the sauce, add 1 tbsp oil, fried garlic slices, and onion. Fry until it is translucent. Add capsicum and mix until tender. Then add the fried chicken, salt, pepper, soya sauce, cornflour and vinegar. Close the lid and cook in slow flame. They are best cooked if you have meethi angeethi cooktops as the flavors are retained within dish. When you notice the sauce thickening, put off the flame. Garnish well with chopped spring onions and garlic.
